David Turner began his career as assistant to his uncle, Philip Turner, a skilled chandelier maker and antique dealer. He then started his own business as an antique dealer and restorer in 1984 and gradually moved towards restoration and manufacture, moving into the current workshop in Dalston in 1994.

David's son Rono joined the business in 2012 and is now taking a leading role within the team of eight. David and Rono work closely together, drawing on the entire teams wealth of experience whilst keeping firmly abreast of new technological advancements that improve both the aesthetics and ethics of restoration and lighting design.

The client list includes some of the UKs top interior designers and antique dealers as well as architects & contractors, artists & crafts people, luxury goods retailers and private individuals from around the world.

Eco policy

David and Rono encourage eco-friendly alternatives, wherever possible, throughout their business practice; 2016 welcomes an all electric van to the company, ride to work scheme for all employees and all renewable energy contracts.
